Khaki Denim Sectional Slipcover

Jen’s outdated plush brocade slipcover is a thing of the past. Now, her sectional has an entirely new look with a Khaki denim slipcover. Looking fabulous especially with her pretty mix of patterned and textured accessories. Even her protective doggie blankets fit right in!

This project was a slipcover replacement. Jen sent me her old covers to copy and update. I changed the gathered skirt to a tailored style for cleaner lines.

Chaise Slipcover Copy in Taupe Denim

Worn and Faded Chaise SlipcoverAndrea’s old chaise slipcover had all the classic signs of a well-loved piece:  thread bare, faded, pulled seams and baggy cushion covers

In spite of its worn-out condition, her slipcover made a good template to copy. To improve the fit, I loosened up the body and took out the excess from the cushion covers.

For this slipcover copy, I used 12 oz. Taupe Cotton Bull Denim from Big Duck Canvas. Taupe is one of their new colors, which is a chalky grey-cast neutral. Very pretty!

Linen Slipcover Copy for Cisco Sofa

Sofa Slipcover Copy in Natural Linen

Natural Heavyweight Linen for SlipcoversA quality heavy weight linen makes a beautiful and long wearing slipcover. One of my favorites is Manchester Natural Brown.

This linen has a European look & feel that never goes out of style. I especially like the authentic flax color, a warm neutral that works with everything.

Manchester Linen is thick and weighty. It’s best suited for classic, washable slipcovers that have simple details — an ideal choice for my customer’s pair of Cisco sofas.
