Fall 2016 Home Decor Color Trends

What’s driving home decor color trends for Fall 2016?

Per Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Color Institute, it’s “the desire for tranquility, strength and optimism”.  That translates to Riverside Blue and Airy Blue. Dusty Cedar, Aurora Red and Spicy Mustard.  And, Warm Taupe, too. These shades combined might not look like a typical fall palette but each one works beautifully for cottage-style slipcovers.

Inspired by Pantone’s forecast, I put together my own color boards led by milky blues and faded rosy and rusty reds. Enjoy!
