My customer’s home office has two armchairs that couldn’t be more different. Out dated? Definitely. But that didn’t matter. She chose them for their comfort and overall good condition, knowing she could refresh the look with slipcovers.

For this slipcover project, my customer chose a buffalo check fabric for one of her armchairs and a simple stripe for the other. While the fabric patterns are distinct, both are the same cotton-poly canvas weave and khaki and white colorway.

Slipcovers made with these classic fabrics in neutral colors unify the chairs. This took the focus off the miss matched furniture.

Now, her armchairs update her space, and look like they belong in the same the room. Nice!
