Custom Pin Fit Slipcovers

I make custom-fit slipcovers for armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans and loose cushions.

My custom pin fit service is offered to customers in Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas. You must be able to deliver and pick up your furniture to/from my home-based workroom. By appointment only.

What is a custom pin fit slipcover?

I create a custom-fit slipcover by pinning your furniture. I drape, cut and pin the fabric dircectly to the piece. After the fitting is completed, I remove the pinned slipcover and then sew it.

I offer this service from May through October.

What types of furniture do you pin fit?

I pin fit armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans and loose cushions. No sofas, chaises, loveseats or sectionals.

Do you pin fit in your customer’s home?

No. I only pin fit furniture from my home-based workroom by appointment in Grand Rapids, MI. You must be able to deliver and pick up your furniture.

What are the fabric choices?

I specialize in making washable, natural fiber slipcovers. I work with a select group of solid color cotton bull denim, canvas, cotton-linen and hemp, which are listed on my recommended fabrics page. I also work with certain prints from Premiere Prints. I don’t accept COM (customer’s own fabric).

Can you make a slipcover for me if I’m not in your area?

Only if you are able to transport your furniture to me for a pin fitting.

Or, if your furniture currently has a slipcover that still has a decent fit, I can make a slipcover replacement for you. I use your old slipcover as a pattern to create the new cover. I work with customers nationwide via mail order.

What is a price of a custom pin fit slipcover?

Once I receive your slipcover photos, measurements and fabric choice, I will work up a price estimate and yardage amount. To get a general idea of my pricing, click here.
